Hi, welcome to Ted Reports.

What's this site about? Stuff. Lots of stuff.

Pretty much anything and everything that I find interesting, and I have, admittedly, a fairly broad and eclectic range of interests. Quite frequently I come across subjects that I don't know a lot about, do a little (or a lot of) research and summarize my findings in an article (or two...or six...) and post them here.
My intention is to inform, educate, and/or entertain. Works for me. I hope it does for you, too.

It all started when I was cast (I'm an actor, among other things) in an online promotion for a new airline. I was to play a "Special Investigator" attempting to solve the mystery of the sudden appearance of several six-foot tall pacifiers found in various locations in Belgium.

A day or two before the shooting, I was contacted by the producers and asked permission to use my own name as the character name in the videos. They thought it had a nice ring to it. I agreed, and "Ted Fletcher - Special Investigator" was born.

The website they built and the videos they shot were highly successful, and I have to admit that I really enjoyed the short term notoriety. The website no longer exists, sadly, but the videos live on! Do a search for "FletcherTed" on YouTube, and you can watch them yourself.
